Aotearoa One Waka Hourua

We found out that we are going to go on the "Aotearoa One" next week.
The waka will be in Gisborne as part of the 
Transit of Venus celebrations.
 Wahoo!!!
Thanks Eva and Te Aturangi! We can't wait. 
Our Captain will be Hoturoa - he talked to us today. 
So grab your life jacket next Thursday and we're off.

Explanation writing

This week R2 spent time draftwriting their explanation on
The Life and Death of a Star.
Next week they will be publishing their explanation with 
"SISOMO"
This means they have to have...
sight, sound & motion
in their publication.
They have to draw their own illustrations
and create their own music.
