Learning Maths Skills

We are learning basic maths skills so that we can begin to effectively work through our maths rotations and work well in our maths groups...

Today Miss G encouraged us to work with our groups in a cooperative environment. She also focussed on teaching us skills to work with Problem Solving and Basic Facts!

 

 

 

Snr. Synd. Triathlon

We had our Senior Syndicate Triathlon today. We have been training for this day for the last couple of weeks; and boy, did it pay off!

Miss G was so impressed with our positive attitudes, our team 'spirit', and loved that we tried our best! When we weren't racing, we were cheering for our friends and class-mates and supporting their efforts.

Well done, Room 2!

We Make Good Choices

Today we did a spelling test so that Miss G can create learning experiences that are relevant and interactive.

After Miss G had told us that it was time for the test, we quickly and quietly moved our desks in the appropriate position without any teacher instruction...!

Miss G is proud of us because we are using our initiative, which is a really important quality to have in the Senior Syndicate.

Haere mai! Welcome friends and whanau of Room 2 for 2013. Our Radical Room 2 Blog is now up and running, and we will keep you updated with our 'goings-on' as the year moves along.

We would like to begin by sharing with you our koru, which we created together - each of us contributed one square of art-work to our 'Welcome Koru'. Doesn't it look great!
