Kia ora whanau
A HUGE thank you to the parents who braved the elements to ensure that our tamariki participated in out Beach Education programme today. Your support meant that your children learnt about water safety in the sea. An essential skill for our community.
SLEEPOVER
Thank you to the parents who have put their hand up for this task. We will be sleeping over in the school hall this Thursday. If you have any questions please contact me.

Welcome to 2015
A warm welcome to you, the parents and whanau of the students of Ruma rua.
My name is Sherryl Gomm and I will be your child’s classroom teacher for 2015. I have returned to the classroom full time following 3 years working alongside teachers and students developing mathematics across Awapuni School.
We have begun the term with a focus on cooperative learning, relationship building and our CLASS TREATY.
You need to know:
- We swim daily (weather allowing) which means students need togs and towel daily. If they are not to swim … a note from parents/whanau is required please.
- Yellow hats are to be worn during Terms 1 and 4
