Wheelchair Jump Jam with Ruben
Everyone in Room 2 has a day on the wheelchair
in term 3.
We are doing this while we follow the Olympic and
Paralympic Games this term.
Here is Ruben doing Jump Jam on his day in the wheelchair.
He was able to move forward and backwards and clap all the while
staying in time to the music.
Ka pai Ruben!
Sitting Volleyball
One of the games at the Paralympics is Sitting Volleyball.
We had a go at it - only difference was we used
balloons instead of a ball.
It was fun - but those balloons don't
go where you want them too.
Karsen has his eye on the balloon.
Paralympics are here
Room 2 are following the Paralympic Games closely.
We have been having turns in the wheelchair each day this term. Everyone that's had a turn says it's hard work.
Ruben was the best at Jump Jam in the wheelchair. He could keep moving like the other kids and do the hand claps in time too!
